Hi there! Carol Jones here and I am from the UK with 30 years experience of teaching Math at all levels across all topics. BSc Maths Honors degree from Manchester University in England with a Post Graduate qualification in Teaching Middle and High school. I taught in my former Grammar School in England before moving to Texas in 2005.
Experience
Twelve years experience at the International school in Houston Texas teaching 6th to 12th grade and all IB levels with amazing results. Tutored one to one for 20 years across all levels with many parent testimonials. My strength is tutoring students to achieve the best possible grade by working at their pace and ensuring they understand the math concepts at a deeper level. I am excellent at exam preparation and building confidence and belief in their ability. I get an unbelievable satisfaction from seeing student progression and I am passionate about my subject. I teach Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, Calculus and the IB courses at Studies, Standard and Higher level.

Hobbies
Travel is my passion and sports, both participation and watching. I love to garden and have a flair for interior design. I am a mum and I spend time with my son going to theatre and supporting him in pursuing his acting career. I love driving and most of my vacations involve road trips! I have visited 42 states and aim to complete the 50 soon.
