I have a Bachelors Degree in Astrophysics from The University of Colorado, Boulder and a Masters Degree in Physics from California State University, Los Angeles with research emphasis in condensed matter physics.
Experience
Worked as an academic specialist in a bridge program at University of Colorado, Boulder with the SASC department for three years. During this time I taught physics and calculus. I taught at CalState LA for 4 years and coached students one-on-one during this time. I have organized and ran Astronomy, Physics summer camps for High School Students and Middle School Students in Colorado. I have a lot of experience with different types of teaching methods and a multitude of learning styles.I have been teaching one-on-one and coaching groups of 2-6 people for 8 years. My expertise is in student centered teaching methods especially in Sciences.
