I have been tutoring privately for more than nine years after my high school graduation. I have not only helped other students, but tutoring helps me stay on top of my own continuing studies. I tutor math and the sciences to high school students. My higher education experience has helped make me a better teacher. For three years I studied Medicine at a school outside the United States. After that, I started over again at a community college in California. After two years there, I enrolled at Johns Hopkins and earned an Engineering degree with several distinctions and honors. I am now seeking my medical degree from Johns Hopkins University, where I am a teaching assistant.My extensive background in education has made it possible for me to guide students toward better time-management skills and study skills, help them choose an academic plan that meets their goals, suggest beneficial extracurricular pursuits, and point them toward success in their unique academic objectives. I look forward to more experience as a tutor and helping even more students achieve the success they want and deserve.In my leisure time I enjoy hanging out with friends, playing sitar (a Persian instrument), cooking, going on road trips, and reading on governance philosophy.
