In 2013, while still enrolled in the Academy, Samuel co-wrote, directed and produced “Today is the 27th of Adar 5773,” a theater play featured at the “Venice Open Stage,” the theater festival of “La Biennale” in Venice, which received ample press coverage and praise. He also collaborated with accomplished screenwriter Alessandro Sermoneta on the movie “Shimessalinu.” In 2014 Samuel was admitted to the MFA Acting program at UCLA. Moving the to US was the stepping stone Samuel needed not only to perfect his acting skills, but also to experiment further with writing and directing. In the summer of 2015 he was admitted with a full scholarship to the prestigious British Drama Academy at Oxford University (joint program with Yale School of Drama), where he studied with John Barton, Julian Glover, Fiona Shaw, Peter Francis James, Lucian Msamati, Mick Barnfather(Complicitè) and many other artists and professors from RADA, Guildhall, Yale and Juilliard. Shakespeare and was part of the UCLA production “Life on Praça Roosevelt” by Dea Loher, directed by Dutch director Marike Splint.
