Duke University - English & Biology GPA of 3.6, Dean's List 3/4 years, and received an award for outstanding creative writing. I also completed a minor in Chemistry, and had enough credits for a History minor...but technically wasn't allowed to have 4 things on my degree. My academic interests were definitely a bit all over the place...but that makes me a well-rounded tutor!

Hobbies

My main pursuit - I like to think of it as more than just a hobby, but who knows - is music. I'm a singer-songwriter and band leader, having played around New York, Los Angeles, and up and down the east coast. I'm a guitarist predominantly, but also play piano, mandolin, harmonica, bass, saxophone, and a few other things here and there. Outside of work, I'm a massive baseball nerd/Yankees fan, a bit of a film buff, and an avid board game player. I work well with students of all ages and aptitudes, and have been working/volunteering in classrooms since college (my mom's a teacher...it runs in the family). I love to teach and can't wait to work with you!
