Originally from Chicago, Illinois, I attended USC and graduated with a Major in Mathematics and a Minor in Biochemistry. I've been on the Dean's Honor List a couple times. I am currently looking to apply to graduate school where I can further pursue my love for mathematics.

Experience

I have been tutoring since I was a junior in high school in both maths and sciences. In college when I was attending USC, I was recruited by a local tutoring company to tutor in all levels of math (K-12). I have helped students falling behind in their high school courses go above and beyond standard requirements and helped bump up some students' grades by 2 levels. After I graduated USC, I have been privately tutoring local middle school and high school students in various math and science subjects.

Hobbies

When I am not geeking out on math and sciences, I am volunteering at the homeless shelter in downtown, attending early morning yoga classes, adding onto my own cookbook that I plan on publishing someday and freelancing for a marketing agency. I consider myself a jack of all trades - I may have a super analytical mind, but I also imaginative and creative. I know how to Photoshop and do basic graphic design. I have recently gotten into watercolor art and plan on collecting art pieces in the near future. I have also picked up salsa dancing which is random but I am a quarter Spanish so hoping to get in touch with my roots more.
