I graduated from Purdue University in 2009 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering & Minor in Mathematics. I loved every minute of those 4-years, and I still cheer on the Boilermakers come the Saturday afternoons in the fall! Boiler up! I am willing to tutor students of any age (middle school up through college) in math or mechanical engineering studies.
Experience
I have tutored both Math and Mechanical Engineering classes to college students before while an undergraduate student at Purdue. I am an Eagle Scout as well, so giving back to the local community is part of my fabric. I love to share my innate passion and curiosity with students. Math is the foundation on which sciences and engineering is built, so a solid foundation is critical to future success. Almost everything in the real world can be described in one math equation or another, and once that is realized math becomes a form of expression and not a bunch of boring, random equations. I love sharing this passion! I find math and its application to the real world extremely interesting and exciting!
