The importance of knowing Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology is at the forefront of every life. Knowing and understanding these subjects well and the way the are synergistic allows for good health and offers a stable foundation for other subjects within health care. These subjects can and are quite a bit of fun to learn. I enjoy offering a unique and memorable perspective that meets and/or exceeds your personalized tutoring needs. My experience comes from being a practicing physician for 20 years, teaching at the college level for 7 years, martial arts training, mindfully playing various sports, holistic healing, and applying what I teach within my own lifestyle. Curiosity has led me down many paths. Those varied paths have enhanced my life, life views and culturally diverse teaching/tutoring methods. Here are a few selections of past and present achievements: - Director of Integrative Health Studies (IHS) BS Degree Program - Instuctor/Associate Professor Anatomy & Physiology for Biology Department, IHS Program, and Massage Program - Teacher of the Year Award Recipient at Northern New Mexico College - Presenter at 2013 AVCA Annual Convention to 200 doctors from 5 different countries - 13 years experience as a team building facilitator - Player on NIU Women's Basketball Team - Currently writing a book I look forward to meeting you and helping you with your tutoring needs.
