I teach acting, voice, solo performance and writing for solo performance. I work with performers from all types of backgrounds and disciplines. For me being onstage is the most natural thing in the world. I know this is not true for everyone. I work with students on everything from learning the basics of being comfortable on stage, to using their voice effectively, to working on honing their craft for more advanced performers. Each person is unique and I work with each student to understand what they need to work on and the best way to do that. Some people learn better from written material, audio, visual, or a combination of the three. It is important to know how best to approach a subject and I always work in the most helpful way for the student. Creativity is innate in all of us. Assisting the student in learning how to nourish and support their own creative impulses and natural abilities is an important part of what and how I teach.

Hobbies
I am an actor, singer and writer. I am originally from Los Angeles but lived in London, Santa Fe, New Mexico and for many years in San Francisco, I write solo plays for performance. The first full-length play, "Tolula" was about small town New Mexico and the U.S. - Mexico border. i am very interested in the border and I spent a morning with the Border Patrol in El Paso to research part of the play. There are a total of 36 characters which is a great deal of fun to perform. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2015, I am pursuing an acting and singing career.
