Experience
I began tutoring while I was attending high school in my home state of Minnesota. There, I began taking college courses at the Rochester Community and Technical College when I was a junior in high school. Once I mastered my calculus class, I began helping other students by tutoring them in the subject. I then began tutoring a wide array of math courses as well as helping ESL students master their math subjects. I tutored students with a wide variety of backgrounds, since RCTC is a very diverse college. Once I graduated from high school, I continued tutoring while attending the University of Minnesota, Morris. I was lucky enough to study abroad in Thailand for a semester, and there I helped people of all ages learn the English language. When not tutoring, I really enjoy traveling! I also love having great conversations that stimulate my mind. Reading is another passion of mine, and I prefer reading classic novels over the latest trendy books. I also enjoy watching a great film, listening to music, taking a swim, playing games, and appreciating good art. While I have a wide variety of hobbies, my absolute favorite activities to enjoy in my free time are cooking and baking.
