At Columbia University, I studied both Sustainable Development and Anthropology. As such, I have a solid foundation in both the Sciences and the Humanities. I have tutored in a wide variety of subjects, but my strongest areas include Reading and Writing, as well as standardized test preparation, study skills, critical thinking, and time management. One of the things I enjoy most about tutoring is helping a student to discover his or her own best processes and learning styles. I have worked with children through young adults in both the New York public school system an in outdoor summer school programs. I speak Arabic and French and am currently studying Spanish. When I'm not working, I like reading, cooking, and traveling.
