Current tutor at Thomas Jefferson High School with AmeriCorps City Year • Provide 1,700+ hours of academic support for students before, during, and after school, with planned interventions, academic coaching, behavioral and attendance monitoring • Create individualized Student Support Maps for 11 students, updated every 6 weeks, based on analyzed data to provide specific goals and strategies to get students’ performances in English and math as close to grade level as possible -Degree in Biology - extensive math, research, chemistry, biology, sciences, and writing experience -SAT, PSAT, GRE -AP English, AP Calculus, Science and English tutoring for grades K-12 -6+ years as a camp counselor -I work very well with students because I am out-going and can make lessons interesting by engaging students with the lesson plans

I enjoy rollerblading, improv, reading, animal research, public health/ non-profit work. I have worked in many camp counselor, nanny, and educational positions for students/children ranging from 6 months - 17 years old. I cater my tutoring for the specific individuals because every student learns differently. Through my various positions as an educator, I have refined my skills of effectively tutoring students at different learning levels and needs. The students I am currently tutoring at Thomas Jefferson High School have already improved tremendously in the past 6 months in the subjects of Math and English.
