Creating a strong reading and writing foundation is vital for any child's education and self-confidence-- it is important to build this foundation during elementary school so that they may continue to do well into middle and high school. I have a BA in English Literature from San Francisco State University, am TESL/TEFL Certified from Language and Culture Coaching, and have worked as an educator and after-school teacher for over 4 years in Los Angeles County and abroad. My work experience includes copywriting/editing article and blogs for an online magazine, volunteering with an Arts nonprofit organization in LA, and teaching English abroad. My love for literacy and writing inspires me to teach children how to be better readers and writers, so they can better educate themselves and expand their imaginations.
