Education

I graduated from UCLA (2013) Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Received a 3.8 GPA.

Experience

GRE scores: Verbal -- 166/170 (96th percentile) Quantitative -- 154/170 (56th percentile) Analytical Writing -- 5.5/6.0 (98th percentile) My specialties in philosophy include epistemology, philosophy of language, and moral theory (as well as meta-ethics). I've also taken courses on the philosophy of psychology, history of philosophy (Ancient and Early Modern), and formal logic. I was also admitted to UCSB for the Philosophy PhD program. My interests in English are mostly in modern and contemporary fiction, everything from Hemingway to David Foster Wallace to Kafka to Chris Kraus. I've taken multiple courses on English theory and analysis (I was an English major for two years before switching to philosophy).

Hobbies

I'm interested in music, art, literature, film, television, philosophy, video games, politics. Basically all the pretentious things you'd expect a 20-something college graduate to be interested in. I'm pretty laid back (I'm sure everyone says that), I usually try to be funny with... whoever I am with, and I love an interesting conversation/argument (the kind where no one takes anything personally).
