-Tutored 7 year olds in math and writing for 1 year and I tutored a 17 year old in U.S. History for her AP exam. Also, my entire life I have helped my mother and father learn english and I would even hold little "classes" for them. -I would like to be a tutor because I really enjoy helping people understand and learn new things. I also know how difficult it is to learn new subjects and languages as I spent some time studying abroad in Germany and found it incredibly difficult to learn the German language. A tutor would have been helpful. -Relevant classes: I have taken many, many world and U.S. history courses in university. I have studied Russian (5 months), German (4 months), and French (3 years) in college so I have an understanding of what goes into learning a new language. I have also taken critical thinking English courses and Spanish and English are my first languages. -Other information: I have volunteered at museums such as the Museum of the Holocaust and the Natural History Museum. I have also worked at a library and my current job is working at a law firm as a clerk.
