In addition to working as a tutor, I work on creative endeavors such as acting, composing, and writing. My degrees combine my love of these arts. I graduated from Northwestern University after studying theatre and English. Even as a child, a love of literature and creative writing ignited a desire to express myself via the arts. This desire sets me apart from other tutors because I know how to combine the vibrant aspects of these fields with the most analytical subject matter. The connection between fiction and reality often surprises students, but the truth is they depend on each other. A successful student knows how to utilize both worlds for sharper thinking.My own academic struggles also make me an ideal tutor. For instance, I needed to work harder in math and science so I know what it means to need extra help with concepts that I failed to connect with instantaneously. Everyone succeeds and struggles with various subjects; the way to overcome that derives from developing an appropriate study plan. I help people do that time and again.When not working with students, I perform in plays. I also write films and compose musicals. Travel also keeps me busy.
