BA In Spanish In 2008 from Utah Valley University I lived in Argentina for two years from 1997-1999 I studied business and conversational Spanish Also a few Spanish literature classes.
Experience
I understand Spanish because I had to learn it, I am not a native speaker, which gives me an advantage over others. I can tell you WHY something should be said a certain way, not just because "it just sounds right" that I hear from Native speakers. Many times in Argentina I spoke more grammatically correct than most of the locals. Which is what you will need for exams; Correct Grammar and pronunciation. For example have you ever been asked to explain English to someone that is learning it? Unless you have studied the parts of speech and the rules, then you can't give much help about why we say things the way we do...
