BA In Spanish In 2008 from Utah Valley University I lived in Argentina for two years from 1997-1999 I studied business and conversational Spanish Also a few Spanish literature classes.

Experience

I understand Spanish because I had to learn it, I am not a native speaker, which gives me an advantage over others. I can tell you WHY something should be said a certain way, not just because "it just sounds right" that I hear from Native speakers. Many times in Argentina I spoke more grammatically correct than most of the locals. Which is what you will need for exams; Correct Grammar and pronunciation. For example have you ever been asked to explain English to someone that is learning it? Unless you have studied the parts of speech and the rules, then you can't give much help about why we say things the way we do...

I am an avid ballroom dancer so I have been teaching for 15 years, I am very patient and easy to get along with. I also am laid back but professional at the same time. I know how to push you if you need pushing, but am also good at gauging when you are overwhelmed and need to slow down. I like to go to the gym and stay active, I am from Colorado originally. I ride a motorcycle.
