Education

I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from UCLA in 2013 with a BA in English and minors in both French and Latin.

Experience

I currently work as an instructor for for children with developmental disorders. We use applied behavioral analysis to improve their functioning and decrease problem behaviors. I also tutor high school students in English Literature and Writing and in preparation for the SAT/ACT. Additionally, while I was in college I helped run an after school tutoring program for inner city elementary school children called Amigos de UCLA.

Hobbies

In my free time I love to sketch, paint pottery, and write. I am also very passionate about music and film. I enjoy attending concerts for local musicians all over Los Angeles and blog about old movies that I watch regularly. My favorites are The Hustler, A Star is Born, anything by Billy Wilder, most movies from the 30's and 40's, and Titanic (I was born in '89 so it was impossible to avoid). I also like to run, swim, and play pool with my friends. I recently left law school to pursue a career in teaching and have begun reading political/current affairs books to fill the void, but my favorite literary authors are Charlotte Bronte, William Blake, Haruki Murakami, and Shakespeare.
