After fifteen years of educational experience, I have found working with students and seeing them fulfill their goals, both academic and personal, to be the most fulfilling part of my work. I have not only been a teacher and a tutor, but also a coach. I approach my students with kindness and understanding while also challenging them to reach their full potential. I work not only to raise their academic achievements, but also their character and self-esteem.I recently completed my PhD in an interdisciplinary program exploring 'human and organizational change,' and I have a background, in education and performance. I have worked with students in a vast array of subjects, ranging from world history to mathematics to psychology. I have assisted with test prep for most standardized tests, such as the ACT, SAT, ISEE, TOEFL, and many others. In addition to traditional subjects such as reading and writing, I also assist with study skills and organization, voice, and public speaking.In my free time, I like to keep active playing hockey and basketball. When not at sporting events, I like to meditate and attend live theater shows.
