I already have five years of tutoring experience even though I am only 20 years old. I find my youth to be an advantage because I can more easily relate to students. In my opinion, relating to students is the best way to help them understand subject matter.I am a student at Los Angeles Community College, working toward a bachelor's degree in Spanish and Environmental Science. I have helped grade schoolers and middle schoolers with their homework in various subjects. My experience also includes designing and teaching my own curriculum called "Spanish for Travelers" for high school students one summer.I tutor Algebra, Differential Equations, American History, Environmental Science, Reading, Writing, Spanish, and AP Spanish Language.In my spare time, I like to read and watch, play, and analyze basketball. Basketball and soccer are sports that have been synonymous with tranquility and family to me since I was young. I also like to play cultural music on my tenor sax, which I have played since fourth grade!
