Education
I completed my Bachelors in Psychology at the University of British Columbia, Canada in 2011 with an emphasis on childhood development. Also, in May (2015) I completed my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Southern California. I graduated with a 3.98 GPA. Additionally, I did my High School years at an International School in Switzerland and completed the MYP and IB programs. I know what it is like to go through these vigorous programs and how to excel in them.
Experience
I am fluent in English and French. I have over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages. My experience ranges from nannying to counseling and many more roles in between. This has given me an ability to connect well with children as well as understand what helps them become more productive and bloom into hard-working beings. I have professional knowledge of psychology and child development. I am currently training to become a licensed family therapist with a non-profit organization called Counseling Partners of Los Angeles. I work in schools to provide counseling for children from marginalized and underserved populations. I am passionate about providing children with a positive learning experience and help them fulfill their potential by identifying their roadblocks to learning and helping them overcome them.
