I just graduated from UCLA this past June with a B.S. in Mathematics and Applied Science with a concentration in the history of science and a specialization in computing.
Experience
I tutored K-12th grade students for the past two years at Maethnasium, a math learning center. I was a lead instructor for the second year. I have done private tutoring with a wide range of age groups. I have worked with students as young as age four but primarily work with elementary, middle, and high school age students. I have also helped students prepare for the SAT, ISEE, and the GRE, as well as for college math courses. I received a 2180 on my SAT and a 5 on the AP Calculus exam. I hope to get my masters in math education in the next couple of years and eventually teach high school math.
