Private tutor in Los Angeles, CA
Arizona State University - BS, Biomedical Engiineering
Before beginning my college career, I spent eight years in the Army, where I spent time working as a respiratory therapist and an air defense coordinator. Originally, I joined the Army because I didn't perform well academically in high school. I believe that the time I spent in the Army gave me a new appreciation for things, and want to share with the students that I tutor the importance of a good education. Currently, I'm a student at Arizona State University, where I'm working to complete my degree in biomedical engineering with a mathematics minor. I began tutoring through the University Academic Success Program at Arizona State University, and enjoy helping students improve their physics, chemistry, and math grades. I tutor students in various mathematics subjects, including elementary math, middle school math, arithmetic, math for grades 6-12, pre-algebra, elementary algebra, developmental algebra, intermediate algebra, linear algebra, college algebra, differential equations, precalculus, multivariable calculus, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, applied mathematics, trigonometry, and IB Further Mathematics HL. I also tutor science students in science, chemistry, general chemistry, organic chemistry, honors chemistry, AP Chemistry, IB Chemistry HL, IB Chemistry SL, physics, AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, IB Physics HL, IB Physics SL, physical science, and Newtonian mechanics, as well as engineering students in C++, technology and computer science, biomedical engineering, and engineering.
