Experience
It can be overwhelming to look at a complicated concept as a whole. I believe the most effective way to tutor a student is to simplify the subject. When tutoring, I take confusing problems and pull them apart into smaller components. From here, we can work together to build an understanding and, ultimately, put all the pieces back together to achieve success. For the past several years, I have been employing this style of mentoring with students of varying skill and age. No matter where a student stands, I am confident that anyone can learn if they want to.I can offer my assistance in SAT prep, ACT prep, ASVAB, CAHSEE, Spanish, English, and essay editing. I am also available to help in many forms of mathematics, such as algebra, geometry, calculus, elementary and middle school math, pre-calculus, statistics, and trigonometry. Presently, I live in Los Angeles, California. I obtained my degree from University of California-Berkeley. I majored in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Actuarial Science. I also minored in Music. During my spare time, I enjoy playing the saxophone, working out, and playing video games.
