Hello! Entering college, I started helping out many of my peers, mostly in science classes such as chemistry, biology, and physiology. After learning I had a knack for breaking down complex concepts into simpler analogies, I decided to tutor those in my classes and joined a club called Interaxon, which aims to educate high school students in neuroscience. My experience teaching students about the brain and its intricate systems has not only been educational for them but for me as well. I've learned to adapt my communication skills to better help those approach tougher topics such as neurotransmitters. I do my best work when I'm working with others, and I get a real sense of fulfillment when I can help someone understand a difficult topic. I am very patient when it comes to tutoring, which can be traced back to my work at a physical therapy clinic during my first few years in college.
