Besides majoring in English & World Literature, I've also coached Cross Country on a Middle school level and have a passion for instruction and helping people achieve their goals with my knowledge and experience. I am currently a freelance writer and editor. In the past I have been a featured writer on the lifestyle and culture blog Thought Catalog, and an editor and contributing writer at several student-run publications in college. I maintain my own blog, which I predominantly write about music, but also features original fiction and non-fiction work. I scored a 1960 on my SAT, with a 9 out the possible 10 on the written section and in the 90th percentile on the reading and other language arts sections. I received an A on my senior thesis, a combination of original narrative poetry and a critique of my influences for such.
