I enjoy tutoring because I am passionate about helping students succeed. I am a firm believer that one-on-one time with students is a critical aspect in learning. As a native Spanish speaker, I believe that I am capable to help students love the language the way I do. I grew up speaking Spanish but learned the semantics and nuances of the language throughout my entire life. I lived in Spain for a year where I was able to dominate the language and immerse myself in a different culture. In college, I took a variety of Spanish courses and volunteer in a migrant clinic as an interpreter to help uninsured migrant farmers with their daily health needs. Now, I use Spanish in my career and everyday life and hope that you will consider me to teach you this wonderful language.
