I have taught in many different settings, from teaching ESL to adults of all ages in a classroom setting, to teaching performance art and public speaking to college students at a small university here in Los Angeles, to tutoring adult students one on one in ESL. I can help you with ESL, essay writing, literature, creative writing...stuff with words. Students report in their evaluations that I am patient, encouraging, motivating and fun. I am a nurturer at heart, and care deeply about helping students find and develop their strengths in order to develop real confidence. When students feel confident, they are more likely to ENJOY the work; and when students enjoy the work, they are more likely to DO the work and practice their skills. And practicing and doing the work, of course, results in real improvement. Then when students see improvement and experience clarity, their confidence grows. And thus, the cycle of confidence and improvement strengthens and continues. I am a creative at heart, so I would like help students facilitate find their own unique voice in whatever they do.

I'm a writer and performer, and I produce my own work, which a huge part of my world. I have a party company with a friend, and I am the resident DJ. I love to hike in Elysian Park, and hang out with my husband and friends.
