I am working toward my Bachelor of Arts in American Studies at Occidental College. I have five years of experience tutoring and teaching a number of topics in Los Angeles, Tennessee, and Melbourne, Australia.At this time, I am tutoring in literature, English, essay writing skills, and SAT writing and verbal preparation. Writing subjects are my favorites to teach because of the opportunity that writing provides for a student to express his or her own creativity. As a tutor, I try to help a student develop a love for the subject that they are learning.I also tutor students in Spanish, reading, writing, grammar and mechanics, European history, study skills and organization, public speaking, social studies, American literature, British literature, literary analysis, Shakespeare, vocabulary, and world literature.In my spare time, I enjoy going out to eat, beach days, volleyball, comedy shows, and Netflix.
