ExperienceI love to get to know my students personally, and enjoy finding out about their likes and interests outside of school. By doing so, I am able to relate information we are learning to something that the student finds interesting. When this happens, I get to witness that "aha" moment, and to see them smile as they fully understand the concept brings me the best kind of joy. I believe that learning should be fun, and students need to see how what they are learning relates to the real world. After I graduated college, I did volunteer work at hospitals, and was able to get real life, hands-on experience. I especially enjoyed my time in the pediatrics department, where I was able to help young people there with their homework needs.I am available to tutor students in Algebra 1-2, Calculus 1-2, Differential Equations, Geometry, Middle School Math, Precalculus, Trigonometry, Anatomy, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics, Physiology, American History, European History, Arithmetic, Nutrition, Pre-Algebra, Life Sciences, Math, Social Studies, Science, U.S. History, and a variety of AP classes.I graduated with my B.S. in Biology from Loyola Marymount University. When I'm not working, I love to read non-fiction, as well as catch up on medical research.
HobbiesIn my spare time, I like to read non-fiction books about the universe, catch up on new technology and medical research, or sit down and play a video game.
