Experience
I have been a TV reporter for many years, working in TV markets like Albuquerque, NM and San Diego, CA. I have also been a TV news writer at various TV stations in Los Angeles, CA, including ABC7, KCAL, and KTLA 5. I now work part-time as a TV reporter for L.A. City Cable Channel 35, and I won two L.A. Area Emmy Awards for some of my reports, with five Emmy nominations. The latest Emmy nomination was 2014, though I didn't win this time. I have also written several screenplays and novels, and a couple of them have won minor awards. None have been optioned or made into screenplays at this point. I also write a blog. I want to be a tutor because I have a passion for writing and I like sharing that passion with other people, as well as helping them to better express themselves in writing.
