I want to be a tutor because I've found that I am good at helping my younger siblings with their essays (one is in college and one is in high school). Writing has always come easy for me but I thoroughly enjoy helping those who have a more difficult time with it find their own voice. I scored a perfect score on the written part of my SATs. I won the Pell Medal for History in High School.
