Experience
I graduated from Harvard University with a bachelor's degree in English and a minor in French. As an avid lover of literature, I wrote my honors thesis in poetry and come up with 52 original poems that talks about various aspects of culture and life, including nature, urban living, and transit. During this time, I also designed and created my very own humanities course for middle and high school students, which I taught through Harvard's Educational Studies Program. Additionally, I also helped create a program designed to help students from under-resourced schools in the community obtain free access to after-school education. While a student, I helped my peers improve their French and poetry skills. After I graduated, I started working as an English teacher in France, where I created student-centered lessons that improved my students' English skills and helped them learn how to communicate like a native speaker. Recently, I completed my graduate program at the University of Cambridge, where I received a master's in English. As a tutor, I enjoy working closely with students and helping them develop an appreciation for not just English and French, but education as a whole. For this reason, I find teaching to be one of the most rewarding experiences I've had.
