I attended the University of California at Santa Cruz, where I earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology. When I was enrolled at UC-Santa Cruz, I worked at our Learning Support Center, where I tutored and mentored college peers. I'm experienced to tutor a wide array of coursework, however I'm most excited tutoring Sociology, Women's Studies, Research, Writing, and Psychology. I can also work with students to improve writing skills, public speaking, essay composition and revision, and reading skills. I can also help with building better study skills and organization. In addition to my favorite subjects, I'm efficient working with students in Literature, English, and test prep for the SAT (Verbal, Critical Reading, Writing), SAT subject tests (Literature), ACT (Writing, Reading, English), Advanced Placement (English Literature and Composition, English Language and Composition, Psychology). It's a really satisfying experience for me to assist others in reaching success in both academic and non-academic settings. I've found that sharing positive working skills has been very helpful and successful for those I work with, and it helps to build confidence even outside of our sessions. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, traveling, reading, and crafting. I'm based in Los Angeles, CA.
