I graduated cum laude from the University of California Los Angeles with a bachelor's degree in International Development Studies with an emphasis on North Africa and the Middle East. I also hold a minor in Public Health. After graduation, I was accepted to medical school. I have experience teaching and tutoring in both formal and informal settings. Whether tutoring friends and family or teaching middle school and high school students in Honduras and the Philippines, I always strive to help my students succeed. I am a patient, articulate person, and I use my knowledge to ensure each of my students thoroughly masters the material at hand. I have years of experience working with students of all ages, and I love to help students discover a passion for learning. I am deeply committed to preparing each of my students for future challenges, both academic and personal. I am able to tutor students in a variety of math and science courses, including Algebra, Statistics, Biology, and Chemistry. I can also help students with English and Writing at both the high school and college levels. When I'm not helping students achieve their goals, I love to run, read, hike, travel, and walk my puppy.
