EducationUniversity of Southern California - BS, Neuroscience
ExperienceI attended the University of Southern California to earn my bachelor's degree in neuroscience, graduating with honors. I was also premed as an undergraduate, so I've taken all of the biochemistry, organic chemistry, biology, and other requirements. My favorite academic subjects are physiology, math, and writing. I also love to teach. I tutored science at USC, and also helped younger students with their studies through the Girl Scouts. As a high school student, I help students prepare for the SAT and taught swimming lessons. I'm adept at explaining concepts in ways that are easier to understand. My favorite thing to help students with is test preparation. Students often have test anxiety, but through my tutelage I can help them understand their patterns and techniques that are fun to learn and identify. I'm looking forward to tutoring students in algebra, geometry, biology, anatomy and physiology, organic chemistry, general chemistry, physics, literature, writing, reading, foundational math and science topics at the elementary and middle school level, and test preparation for the MCAT, AP exams, and other standardized tests. When I have some free time, I like to watch movies, read, swim, play hockey, play with my dog, and explore the city with friends.
HobbiesReading about current events, movies, swimming, TV (too much!) and just exploring the city with friends
