I earned my neuroscience degree from Pomona College. I'm looking forward to medical school in the future, and I'd like to become a pediatrician. I tutored and mentored students for the past seven years, and during that time I've had the opportunity to work with students from second-grade through the senior year of high school. I love working with students and connecting with them as a mentor and peer. Since I'm a visual learner, I like to present topics using pictures and other resources, and I provide games and other activities to students as well to help them look at concepts from different perspectives. I believe every student can learn and be successful in their studies, and it's my responsibility to figure out how to help them learn most effectively. My tutoring specialties are the sciences, but I've help students with English and language arts, the college application process, test preparation, and more. When I have free time, I enjoy traveling, cooking, modern dance, and hiking.
