I have been tutoring Math, Biology, Chemistry, and SAT students for more than seven years. I have a solid record of student improvement in both those subject areas and in many others. My students have also gone on to succeed on standardized tests such as the ACT, MCAT, PSAT, and SAT.My own educational journey has taken me through a Bachelor of Science from Johns Hopkins University in Molecular and Cellular Biology to studying Business at Columbia University. Many students and their parents believe that students either have the ability to go to a good school or they don't. The truth of the matter is quite different. Any student who learns how to build strong study skills, manage their time efficiently, and utilize smart testing strategies can attend and graduate from a top-tier university.I enjoy tutoring because it's a chance to help my students realize that they, too, have the ability to achieve academic success. Although they might not realize it initially, the work we do on building positive habits eventually helps them to push the limits of what they thought was possible. It's a process I enjoy being a part of, and it's what I enjoy doing most when I'm not indulging in hobbies like basketball, football, and entrepreneurship.
