Previous/Current Experience: - Curriculum Specialist and Coach at large education nonprofit - Co-founder of a charter middle school in Los Angeles - Six (6) years teaching 5-12 graders English Language Arts - Three (3) years as elementary school tutor (math and literacy) - Two (2) years as SAT tutor - Ten (10) years tutoring all state exams in NY and CA I love helping kids and adults feel confident in their abilities to improve and progress in writing and basic math skills. I am well-versed in the instructional and learning shifts ushered in by the Common Core, and I have nearly 10 years of experience in differentiation and tailoring learning experiences to student needs. *NOTE: MY FEE IS NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON THE NEED. $30 IS AN AVERAGE RATE. I AM ALSO AVAILABLE FOR ONLINE/SKYPE/GOOGLE HANGOUT SESSIONS AT DISCOUNTED RATES. *ALL FEES MUST BE PAID AT START OF SESSION (CASH or CHECK ACCEPTED; CASH PREFERRED) *FIRST SESSION OF 45 MINUTES IS FREE OF CHARGE.
