I want to become a tutor because I want to be a role model for all students I work with. Being able to have that one-on-one opportunity will allow me to build relationships with students so that they feel comfortable with me. I will recognize his or her strengths/weaknesses and work on them so that improvements are noticeable. I want to be that positive influence they need and someone they feel safe around. By being a tutor students can rely on me and will be able to recognize that all the homework they test prep they receive can be fun and easy with the right person to guide them along the way.
