Charles Drew University Saturday Science Academy As a young person who struggled in the sciences, I know first hand how hard it can be. In high school, my grades in this field were very lackluster, and I immediately knew that I needed help. My Biology tutor was someone that offered that much needed help and support. With her assistance, not only did I pass my classes, I developed a love for the subject I thought I hated. Through tutoring, I want to evoke the same feeling in my mentees, and help them succeed in and love science. I have taken many science related classes such as: Biology Molecular Biology Cancer Biology Cell Biology Genetics Biochemistry Advanced Biochemistry Chemistry Organic Chemistry Physical Chemistry Physics w/ Calculus Instrumentals Methods - a class dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of advanced scientific machinery.
