I was a tutor for three years while attending Cornell University. I have experience helping students with english, grammar, essay-help, forming arguments, reading comprehension, etc. I also tutored in high school! I got a 2090 superscore on my SAT - 690 reading, 680 math, 730 writing. I am familiar with the formatting of the SAT/ACT and can help your student improve on reading passages as well as vocabulary. I primarily teach out of a study book such as Barron's, Princeton Review, etc. I can also relate to your kid while ensuring he learns study skills that will help him improve in school and on standardized tests.
