Experience
I am a teacher within the Santa Monica Malibu School District and I currently teach fourth grade. With a Masters of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and a Bachelors degree from Northwestern University, I bring background knowledge of best educational practices and child development. For the past tens years, I have taught students ages 4-11 in a classroom setting. Additionally, I tutor children in math and reading between the ages of 6-12. I pride myself on bringing both joy and understanding to challenging subject matter. The students I tutor have gone from receiving failing grades in their subject areas to resounding A’s, all with enthusiasm and pride. I would love to help unlock the world of learning for your child!
