I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in May 2014 with a degree in Sociology and a background in Cognitive Science. I received my TESOL certificate in December 2014 and am a certified ESL teacher. I have taught students in Cambodia and Vietnam, ages ranging from 4- 16. I am currently a Psychology post- baccalaureate student.

SAT: 2050 AP US History: 5 AP English Language Composition: 5 AP English Literature and Composition: 4 AP European History: 5 AP Biology: 3 AP Physics: 3 I have taught English to Cambodian and Vietnamese students, ranging from the ages 4 to 16 years old. Teaching young learners allowed me to fully utilize my strong spoken and written English skills in a dynamic learning environment as well as develop a greater sense of international and intercultural awareness. Not only did I teach grammar, reading, and writing skills, but I also prepared my students for the Cambridge ESOL Exams by teaching them vital test taking strategies. I have also worked as an after school program assistant at Sage Mentoring Program where I was in charge of supervising the 5th and 6th grade classes at a local elementary school in an after school art program. Furthermore, I was a volunteer tutor at Oakland Asian Students Educational Services and a mentor for Women and Youth Supporting Each Other.
