I have been tutoring for over 15 years. I enjoy teaching and connecting with children. I am able to build good relationships with children and youth. I enjoy mentorship along with tutoring. I tutor school-aged children from K- 10th grade. My strengths are in Reading comprehension and Writing although I can tutor in other subjects as well. When I tutor, I like to include reading novels and stories, vocabulary building, creative writing, essay writing and much more. I can assist those who have difficulty learning how to read. I am also very good at working on essay writing. I have worked with students with mild ADHD and Autism. I have also assisted students who have dyslexia. I am good at working with students one on one and identifying his/her strengths and areas where improvement is needed. I believe in encouraging students in their strengths and letting them know they are smart!
