Hi, my name is Jerusha and I'm a graduate at The Fashion Institute of Technology with a BA in Apparel Manufacturing & Production, and a AAS in Fashion Design. I've spent the past 8 years designing for such prominent retailers and fashion companies as Macy's, Aeropostale, Jones NY, Bongo Jeans, Urban Outfitters, Target, Osh Kosh B'Gosh, Vera Wang, J. Lo, Mudd Jeans, and Buckle. I specialize in up-to-date industry standard techniques including Hand Flats & Full Figure Sketching, Marker & Watercolor Rendering, Draping, Hand Stitching, Sewing, Presentation Boards, Portfolio Layout, Computer-Aided Flat Sketches & CADs, Technical Packages for Design Details, Specs & Bill of Materials. and Computer Textile Patterns all utilizing Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Excell & Web PLM. I taught a sewing class to High School students where learning how to sketch & construct their designs was a main component of my lessons. I've also trained assistants & Interns to be able to utilize these computer skills for the same professional design purposes.
