Experience
I was a tutor for Occidental College's Neighborhood Partnership Program. I helped 5th and 6th grade students with Math and English. I find study skills very important and build this into my tutoring sessions. During middle school and high school, I have also been to various after school tutoring programs. From these experiences, I learned the pros and cons to different tutoring styles.
