I am a LAUSD teacher and have been teaching/tutoring for about 10 years. I have tutored students from rigorous private and preparatory schools 3 to 5 times a week. I have helped teenagers with Ds and Fs pass their Math and English classes with As and Bs. I have helped high school freshmen grow their algebra skills by 2 years in only 2 months, as proven with IXL test scores. I have helped seniors in danger of not graduating walk across the stage at the end of the year! What I truly love about tutoring is that it gives me a chance to study a wide range of topics while also helping students to grow and achieve their true potential. Teaching and tutoring English, history, math, and science is a lifelong endeavor full of many rewards and opportunities.
