I am currently living in West Los Angles and work part time as a tutor for Kumon Learning Center. My immediate future plan is to apply for a Masters in Public Health with a specialization in community education. I believe that I am a viable candidate for the position because of my ability to relate with students, experience in tutoring students, and my passion for teaching others. My experiences in college in leading a workshop, mentoring incoming freshman as well as elementary school students, and teaching a fitness class to a 4th grade class have taught be to be patient and take complicated information and present it in relatable and upbeat format. In addition, I tutor my brother, who is in the 5th grade, in his schoolwork on a daily basis. I am an eagle scout and give back through community service.
