Experience
I used to volunteer tutor in a high school in Santa Ana for about a year in math. I always enjoyed helping classmates on math and physics HW in community college. The reason that I am doing this is because of my experience of taking a GRE preparation class from a well known organization not too long time ago. The preparation class came as a package that I had to go to the math part as well. What surprised me the most is that there are still so many people struggle on "simple math" while they are preparing to go to graduate schools. I understand that maybe the "simple math" to an engineering student may not be simple to many others at all. The instructor that I got in the GRE class came from a social science background, and there were many times in class that even he couldn't solve some practice math problems... I was requested by students in class to help explain from time to time. I realized that math is so simple to me and I can simply help people on that easily.
